The carelessness of four youths who left for home on the same bike after attending a wedding ceremony proved fatal. While overtaking a truck on Katra Jalalabad road, the bike went out of control and collided with a car coming from the front, killing all the four youths and the car driver and his companion. After the collision, the bike also caught fire.

Ravi, a resident of Nazarpur Mohalla of Tilhar, had a cousin’s wedding in Kant on Monday, to attend which he had gone on a bike with his friend Akash. There he met Dinesh and Abhishek of the same locality. When Ravi was about to go home at around 2 o’clock in the night, both of them said that they also had to go home, but were not getting any means, on which Ravi made them sit on the bike.

Collision while overtaking a truck

While overtaking a truck near Barkheda on Katra-Jalalabad road, the bike went out of control and collided with a car coming from the front. In the accident, all four youths and the car riders Sudhir and Sonu, residents of Karanpur Kalan village of Faridpur in Bareilly, were injured. The bike also caught fire. The drivers passing by informed the police and put the injured on the side of the road.

Referred to medical college

All were brought to the Government Medical College in critical condition. Where Sudhir and Sonu were declared dead. Ravi and Akash died during treatment on Tuesday morning. Seeing the critical condition of Dinesh and Abhishek, they were referred to Bareilly, but they also died on the way before reaching there.
