When there was an uproar over the video, the local administration claimed that this video was from before the doors of Kedarnath temple opened. On the other hand, seeing the displeasure of the people, the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee (BKTC), which looks after the arrangements in Kedarnath Dham, has filed a case against the unknown youths. The police has also started investigating the video. These youths are being identified through social media.
