Hemant Dwivedi (Pauri) has been made the chairman. While Rishi Prasad Sati (Chamoli) and Vijay Kaparvan (Rudraprayag) have been made vice-chairman of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee. The decision to appoint two vice-chairmen has been taken for the comprehensive operation of pilgrimage areas, better coordination and to provide more facilities to the pilgrims.
