It is reported that Mahavir Jain’s company first applied for registration. Soon, big names like T-Series, Zee Studios, Madhur Bhandarkar and Ashok Pandit also jumped into this race. So far, more than 15 studios and directors have claimed ‘Operation Sindoor’ as theirs.

According to BN Tiwari, President of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), it will soon be decided which filmmaker will get the title of ‘Operation Sindoor’.
