The government is running many schemes for the women of Uttarakhand. So that, along with connecting women with self-employment, all facilities can be provided during pregnancy and after delivery. In this episode, the Uttarakhand government is now preparing an action plan to provide facilities to women for the next 1000 days from conception. For this, phase-wise assistance will be provided to women under the ‘Mukhyamantri Jacha-Baccha Shubhjeevan Protsahan’ scheme.
Emphasis on action plan for one thousand golden days of pregnant women
Actually, Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya reviewed all the schemes related to women welfare and child development. After the review meeting, Minister Rekha Arya said that a game changer scheme (Mukhyamantri Jacha-Baccha Shubhjeevan Protsahan) was placed before the Chief Minister. In which an action plan is being prepared for one thousand golden days of pregnant women. In this scheme, provisions are being made for the nutrition, health security and other needs of pregnant women, newborns. Instructions have been given to the officials to prepare the format of this game changer scheme soon.
‘Single Women Self-Employment Scheme’ will be placed in the cabinet soon
He said that ‘Single Women Self-Employment Scheme’ was placed in the previous cabinet, but it was decided to amend some points in this scheme. In such a situation, the proposal has been prepared by amending the Single Women Self-Employment Scheme proposal. Which will be placed in the upcoming cabinet. In such a situation, after the implementation of this scheme, single women will be able to take advantage of this scheme.
Appointment letters will be handed over to Anganwadi workers and assistants between 20 and 22 May
On the appointment of Anganwadi workers and assistants, Minister Arya said that the results of the appointment of Anganwadi workers and assistants have been released in 12 districts of the state. Due to which the officers have been instructed to give a week’s time for objections and resolve the objections within 3 to 4 days and issue the fine list and hand over the appointment letters. The appointment letters will be handed over between 20 and 22 May.
Fee is also being received for ‘Women Welfare Fund’
Rekha Arya said that ‘Women Welfare Fund’ for which an additional fee of Rs 1 per bottle is being received from the Excise Department. The rules of this Women Welfare Fund were in the Finance Department for a long time and the Finance Department had raised some objections. Instructions have been given to the officials to resolve those objections as soon as possible and present the Women Welfare Fund Rules in the upcoming cabinet.
She said that the Women Welfare Fund will also be implemented. Women who need security, self-employment, protection during disasters will be able to take advantage of this fund. At the same time, provisions are also being made in the rules keeping in mind the protection of children and elderly women who have become orphan due to an accident.
Under the Nanda Gaura Yojana being run in Uttarakhand, at present, eligible girls are given an amount of Rs. 51,000 at the time of taking admission in graduation after passing 12th, but soon under this scheme, assistance will also be given on completion of any skill based course after graduation or 12th. Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya has reviewed this scheme and has given instructions to add new provisions in the scheme. She said that the departmental officers should prepare the final draft of the new changes and submit the proposal as soon as possible.
