Uttarakhand: High alert in Dehradun amid Indo-Pak tension, DM holds emergency meeting

Amid the growing tension between India and Pakistan, the Dehradun district administration has become fully alert. An important coordination meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, in which officers from the Army, Police, Paramilitary, Security Agencies, NDRF and Intelligence Department were present.
DM held an emergency meeting
In the meeting, there was a discussion on sounding the emergency siren in the ONGC premises without the permission of the district administration. Also, the lack of coordination between the agencies was exposed regarding this. DM Savin Bansal clearly said that there should be no lack of coordination under any circumstances.
No action should be taken without permission: DM
The DM said that mutual coordination is very important to keep the security system tight and to avoid rumors. In the meeting, all the agencies were instructed that no action should be taken without permission in any emergency situation.
