Nanakmatta police of Udham Singh Nagar district has arrested two vicious accused while taking major action against drug smugglers. Police has recovered 58 grams of smack from their possession, which is said to be worth about Rs 3 lakh in the international market.
Two smugglers arrested with smack worth lakhs
The arrested accused have been identified as Kulwant and Mahendra, whom the police have nabbed from village Jogithera in Nanakmatta area. Police investigation has revealed that both these accused used to supply smack in Nanakmatta, Khatima and Sitarganj area.
Police also investigating illegal property acquired from drugs
The police is now also investigating the illegal property acquired by the accused from drugs. Regarding the matter, SSP of Udham Singh Nagar Manikant Mishra has clarified that a campaign will be run continuously against drug smugglers in the district. This action of the police has created panic among the drug dealers in the area.
