A youth from Jakhol village of Uttarkashi district was swept away in the Tons river near Hanol temple located in Tyuni area of Dehradun today. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the local police and SDRF team reached the spot and the search for the youth has been started.
Uttarkashi youth swept away in Tons river due to slipping of feet
According to the information, the youth has been identified as Dinesh son Haripal resident Jakhol Uttarkashi. It is being told that the youth had gone to visit Hanol temple and during this time he went to the banks of Tons river, where he was swept away in the river due to slipping of feet.
Search for the youth continues
On receiving the information of the incident, the police and SDRF team reached the spot and started the search operation. Till the time of writing the news, no clue of the youth has been found. The search operation is still going on in search of the youth. The family members of the youth have been informed about the incident.
