Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday attended a program organized at the Cantonment Council Office Complex in Garhi Cantt. During this, the CM inaugurated the Harbansh Kapoor Memorial Hall built at a cost of Rs 12.51 crore.

Chief Minister Dhami said that this state-of-the-art community building built by MDDA will provide excellent facilities for social events to the regional people. He directed the MDDA to operate the building with clear SOP so that it can be made available to the general public at reasonable rates.

Strict policy adopted against terrorism: CM

During the program, the CM also mentioned the valor of the army and said that the Indian Army has given a befitting reply to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Terrorist bases located in Pakistan have been destroyed. The CM said that a strict policy has been adopted against terrorism under the leadership of PM Modi.

Double engine government running on the policy of nation first: CM

Chief Minister Dhami said that the central and state governments are running on the policy of nation first. CM Dhami claimed that the state government has given more than 23 thousand government jobs to the youth in the last three years and this trend will continue in future as well.

Work towards making Dehradun a smart city

CM Dhami said that development schemes worth more than Rs 1400 crore are being run to make Dehradun a modern city. These include projects like Dehradun-Delhi Elevated Road, Song Dam, Elevated Road on Rispana and Bindal rivers. Solving the problem of traffic and parking is the priority of the government.
