On the complaint of former MLA Champion’s driver, a case has been registered against Umesh Kumar and his supporters under sections of assault, abuse, vandalism of vehicle, threat to kill and SC-ST Act. It is alleged that Umesh Kumar along with his supporters hit Champion’s car and threatened him using casteist words.
Retaliation by MLA Umesh Kumar’s side
At the same time, in the complaint given by the driver of Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar, it is said that former MLA Champion’s car overtook and deliberately hit his car from the side. After this, Champion and his companions vandalized the car with sticks and rods. Also threatened by abusing. Police engaged in investigation
The matter escalated from a quarrel to a scuffle and supporters of both the sides also gathered at the spot.
