The accident is said to have taken place at 12:15 pm on Monday. According to the information, the helicopter had reached Badrinath Dham with the devotees. After dropping the devotees, the helicopter was flying again with other devotees. Suddenly the pilot lost control of the helicopter.

However, the pilot regained control of the helicopter in time. All the passengers sitting in it are said to be safe. Giving information about the matter, police station in-charge Navneet Bhandari said that due to imbalance during the helicopter take-off, the helicopter’s wing collided with the vehicle parked on the helipad. However, all the passengers are safe.
