Preparations for the construction of the 26 km long elevated road included in the urban projects have now come on the ground. The administration has started the formal process of land acquisition, under which the work of putting red marks on the houses in the settlements on the banks of Rispana and Bindal rivers has started.

More than 2600 houses are in danger

Let us tell you that about 2619 houses are coming under the purview of this project, out of which 1499 houses are located on the banks of Bindal river and 1120 houses near Rispana river. Most of these are kutcha-pukka houses, where poor and middle class families have been living for the last several years.

Construction of elevated road will provide relief from traffic problem
