A shocking incident has come to light from Roorkee just hours after the CBSE board declared the exam results. A student, disappointed by failing in the exam, jumped into the Ganga canal in an attempt to commit suicide.

The incident took place near Solani Park in Roorkee Kotwali area. The student was mentally broken due to failing in 12th class. She reached Solani Park alone and jumped into the Ganga canal. Seeing the student drowning, the people present nearby raised an alarm.
Saved the student’s life
Meanwhile, a young man jumped into the Ganga canal without wasting any time and pulled the student out. On receiving information about the incident, the police team also reached the spot. The student has been handed over to the family after first aid. The police have started investigating the matter.
