The reason was samosa. Kasmar killed the shopkeeper for not giving samosa. This incident happened just a few steps away from the police station. Which has raised a big question on the working style of the police.

Not giving samosa to the shopkeeper proved costly

Actually 28-year-old Rakesh, who used to run a tea-samosa shop at Jhajjar Gate, was sitting at the shop like every day. Then a young man came there and suddenly fired bullets. Rakesh died on the spot. Before the people present nearby could understand anything, the accused fled from there.

People angry with the murder took to the streets

As soon as the news of the incident spread, tension spread in the area. Rakesh’s family and local shopkeepers closed the market in anger and blocked the main road. The police had to reach the spot to control the situation. The angry people demanded that the police personnel including the station in-charge be suspended and the accused be arrested as soon as possible.

To bring the situation under control, the ACP reached the spot and assured the people that strict action will be taken against the policemen and the accused will be caught soon. After this the jam was removed.

‘The dispute started with Samosa’

According to preliminary information, Rakesh had an argument with a customer over Samosa. It is believed that this matter later took a serious turn. The attacker has been identified as a resident of Ismailpur. However, the police have not yet made his name public.
