Chardham Yatra: People from every corner of the world are willing to come to Uttarakhand, 31581 have registered from more than 150 countries

People from every corner of the world are interested in coming to Chardham Yatra. The registration figure for the Yatra has crossed 28 lakhs. In this, 31581 people have registered from more than 150 countries. Most of the passengers have registered from USA, Nepal, Malaysia, UK, Australia, Canada.

Apart from Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham situated in the high Himalayan regions of the state, there is enthusiasm all over the world for the visit of Hemkund Sahib. The registration figures of the Tourism Department are confirming this. 5728 passengers have registered from Nepal.

Apart from this, passengers from more than 150 countries including 5864 from USA, 1559 from UK, 837 from Mauritius, 327 from Indonesia, 888 from Canada, 1259 from Australia have registered. Yatra registration nodal officer Yogendra Gangwar said that people from every country of the world are registering to come to Chardham Yatra.

So far 7.18 lakh devotees have visited Char Dham

The Char Dham Yatra started on 30 April. Till 14 May, more than 7.18 lakh devotees have visited Char Dham. Due to non-availability of slots for online registration, the number of offline registrations is increasing. More than 18 thousand registrations are being done in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Herbertpur, Vikasnagar in a day.
