Ballot papers of all the districts have also been published. The commission had deployed district-wise observers in the civic elections.
These observers had matched the expenditure of the candidates. Expenditure details were taken from all the candidates. Action is going on at the commission level against those who did not give it. Now the commission is preparing to strictly monitor the expenditure in the three-tier panchayat elections as well.
The commission official said that along with observers, district-wise accounts will also be taken to monitor the expenditure. Expenditure will also be matched. Since this time the limit of expenditure has been increased for candidates from Pradhan to District Panchayat President. It is expected from all the candidates that they spend within this limit.
