Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra organized in Haldwani on Saturday. A huge crowd gathered in this yatra. In which hundreds of public representatives, school children and ex-servicemen along with local citizens participated with the tricolor in their hands. The purpose of the yatra was to honor the military power, bravery and sacrifice of the country.
Chief Minister Dhami said that recently there was a brutal attack on innocent and unarmed tourists. In response, India’s security agencies destroyed nine enemy terrorist hideouts within just four days. He said that due to India’s quick and effective action, Pakistan had to come to its knees. Had to appeal for a ceasefire. After which they had to plead.
The Chief Minister further said that under the visionary and strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s armies showed unparalleled courage and valor. We congratulate him as well as the three armies of India. Who gave a befitting reply to the terrorists.
Describing Uttarakhand as ‘Devbhoomi’, CM Dhami said that someone from every house here is contributing to the army, paramilitary forces or other security services. He said that whether it is Haldwani, Dehradun or Tanakpur – wherever processions are being taken out in honor of the soldiers across the state. People are thronging the streets. This is proof that the people of the country are united with the army.
