Rachel announced through a social media post that she is returning her crown of Miss Grand International 2024. Rachel then also shared a video on social media, in which she is seen crying. Life became hell as soon as she won the title

Rachel has shared a long video on her YouTube channel. In this video, Rachel has told the reason behind this big decision while crying. Along with this, she has also made many revelations related to it. In the video, Rachel told that the last few months were the worst days of her life. The last time she was happy was when she won this title and since then things have become like hell. She has been depressed and alone for the last few months. She said that she does not wish this bad even for her enemy. Returning the crown after doing so much hard work is hurting her a lot.

Harassment in return for hard work

Talking about her reason for leaving the title, Rachel said that you guys know how hard I worked to win the title. But in return I got only harassment and abuse. I don’t think these people will ever change. I want to tell you how much I was struggling in my heart behind Smile. When I participated in the competition, I had no idea that the country was paying money for votes. And Miss Grand International Organization is happily accepting it in the form of votes and donations. I came to know that we cannot pay money for votes. Rachel did not get basic facilities

Rachel said that I won in October and then I stayed there for the whole month of November and two weeks in December and then I stayed there for the whole month of March. You will not believe the way they treated me during that time. They could not even provide me basic facilities. Immediately after winning, they sent me to a small room in a hotel. A small room where even all my suitcases could not be opened properly. I stayed in that hotel room for more than 1 month. They did not give me food.

In the post, she wrote, Being crowned was one of the sweetest dreams of my life and I was full of hope to represent my country and make history.
