Uttarakhand: Haridwar police busy in preparations for Kanwar Mela and Ganga Dussehra, SSP held a meeting with station in-charges regarding the preparations

Haridwar Police has started its preparations for Kanwar Mela 2025. For which Haridwar SSP Pramod Dobal held a meeting with the police officers of the district and all the station in-charges in the fair control room on Monday.

After the meeting, SSP Pramod Dobal said that in today’s meeting, along with conducting the upcoming Kanwar Mela safely, it was discussed to control the crowd of devotees coming to the upcoming Ganga Dussehra and other places. During this, instructions were given to identify the problems in running the Haridwar traffic system smoothly and remove them before time.

SSP Pramod Dobal said that many more plans will be made in the coming time regarding the traffic system, so that simple and smooth arrangements can be provided to the devotees coming to Haridwar. It has also been seen on the weekend that traffic jams were occurring in Haridwar. For which a meeting has been held with SP Traffic etc. and a new plan has been asked to be made.

At the same time, preparations have been intensified from now on in view of the Kanwar Mela. Because the way the crowd of devotees had gathered in the religious city of Haridwar last time. It is estimated that this year even more Kanwariyas will come to Haridwar with Kanwar. In such a situation, it is the duty of the police to provide them with simple and easy arrangements.
