Six girls died by drowning while bathing in the Yamuna river in Agra on Tuesday morning. In this search operation that lasted for about 30 minutes, four girls were found dead. While two girls were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

One of the girls who was taken to the hospital was married on June 5. In such a situation, the family members are in a bad condition due to crying. Agra DM has announced a help of four lakh rupees to the victim families.

Actually this entire incident is of Nagla Nathu Mauja Swami of Sikandra police station area of Agra. According to the news, all the six girls went to take bath in Yamuna river at around 10:15 in the morning. In such a situation, the girls got into deep water. Due to which they started drowning. Hearing the screams of the girls, the aunt of the girls sitting on the river bank shouted and called the people.
People informed the police about this and divers were called. But by then the girls had drowned. After a lot of effort, four girls were taken out. Where the doctors in the hospital declared them dead. Somehow two girls were saved and admitted to the hospital. Where they also died by noon. In such a situation, the body has been sent for post-mortem.

If the information is to be believed, one of these girls was going to get married on June 5. Wedding preparations were in full swing at home. However, on hearing the news of the girl’s death, the atmosphere of celebration turned into mourning.

Identification of the deceased girls
The deceased girls have been identified as Muskan (18), Shivani (17), Nancy (14), Divya (13), Sandhya (12) and Sonam (12). They were real sisters, cousins and maternal cousins.
