Uttarakhand: Dhami cabinet approved 12 proposals, transport tax will be waived on battery, motor and strong hybrid petrol vehicles, subsidy scheme will be implemented for diesel vehicles

The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ended. A total of 12 proposals have been agreed upon in the Dhami cabinet meeting. After the cabinet meeting was concluded, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, while giving a press briefing, said that 12 proposals have been approved in the Dhami cabinet meeting. In which it has been mainly decided that now tax will not be levied on hybrid vehicles registered in the state. Till now there was a provision to levy tax on hybrid vehicles in the state.
Key points of Dhami cabinet meeting
- 859 were regulated in the Urban Development Department in the year 2013. In such a situation, it has been decided to cover their dependents under the Deceased Dependent Service Rules.
- Approval was given to open a separate bank account to implement the Uttarakhand Swachhata Gatiyan Parivartan Policy.
- Amendment made in the Uttarakhand Motor Vehicle Taxation Reform Act. It was also decided to exempt hybrid vehicles from tax. These benefits will be available on private vehicles.
- Exams for the posts of Uttarakhand uniformed constable and Uttarakhand uniformed sub-inspector will be conducted simultaneously.
- Exams for the posts of sub-inspector level will also be conducted simultaneously.
- Amendments made in the structure of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission. 15 new posts created. In which one regular post and 14 will be filled through outsourcing.
- It has been decided to declare the head of the forensic department as the head of the department. With this, the forensic department will become a separate department. Till now it was under the police headquarters.
- Amendments made in the structure of Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission. 12 new posts created.
- It was decided to create iconic artwork in the works being done under the master plan in Badrinath. Due to which the cabinet has approved four schemes.
- Shesh Netra Lotus Ball will be made in the lake front of Badrinath Dham.
- Sudarshan Chowk artwork will be made in the arrival plaza of Badrinath.
- Tree and river sculpture will be made at Badri Narayan Chowk in Badrinath.
- Sudarshan Chakra will be made in the arrival plaza of Badrinath Dham.
- Graduate arrangement will be made for the employees availing the benefit of New Pension Scheme by linking it with the old pension scheme.
