Indian cricket team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir has expressed grief over the accident that happened in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s victory parade. He has raised questions on Virat Kohli’s RCB. He clearly said that what is the need to do such road shows.

Gautam Gambhir has always been against such events. Regarding the victory parade of Royal Challengers Bangalore, he said that the whole of India is sad for the families of the fans who lost their lives. What is the need to do such road shows.

Gambhir further said, “It is enough to celebrate that the team has won and if proper arrangements cannot be made then such events should not be organized.”

On the unfortunate incident that happened in Bangalore, Gautam Gambhir said, “I have never been a supporter of road shows. I believed the same even when I was a part of India’s T20 World Cup winning team in 2007. People’s lives are much more important than such things. I will continue to say the same in future as well.”

Let us tell you that 11 people died in the accident during RCB’s victory parade. Actually, the final match of IPL 2025 was played on June 3, in which RCB won its first trophy by defeating Punjab Kings. The team reached Bangalore with the trophy the next day at around 1 pm. The players were going to travel in an open bus, but then the news came that due to heavy crowd, the police did not allow it. Still, wherever the team’s bus passed, a large number of people were seen standing there. Anushka Sharma also shared many videos of this on her Instagram. Virat Kohli was sitting in the front of the bus holding the trophy.

Around 5 pm, the RCB team reached the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where the victory was being celebrated. A large number of people reached here too, which was not adequate to control. During this, there was a stampede here and around 6 o’clock, there was news of many people dying. Even after this, the victory was celebrated inside the stadium for a long time.
