Chief Election Commissioner on Sweden tour, will participate in international conference in Stockholm

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is participating in the International IDEA Conference on Electoral Integrity being held in Stockholm, Sweden from 10 to 12 June.
He has been invited by India to deliver the keynote inaugural address. During this visit, he also interacted with Indian diaspora in Sweden and informed about initiatives like online registration and postal ballots for overseas voters.
More than 100 delegates from 50 countries are participating in this conference. The CEC will also hold bilateral meetings with election commissioners of various countries during this visit. Senior officials of the Commission are also present with him.
