The team of 12 people on this ship is trying to reach Gaza, unmindful of Israeli threats. They claim that their mission is completely peaceful and their only purpose is to provide help to the suffering people of Gaza.

The leader of this relief campaign is Turkish social worker Huseyin Suyab, who has also lived in Germany earlier. According to him, no one in the team knows how to use weapons, and all the members keep themselves completely away from violence. But he fears that Israel will again do what it has done before, attacks, violence and arrests. Despite this, this caravan has not stopped.

What is the purpose of the mission?

Although there is not much relief material on Madeline, its intention is bigger. The real purpose of this mission, which was launched with the intention of challenging Israel’s blockade on Gaza, is to shock the world. This ship has become a symbol of the voice that says that this barbarism must now stop. The situation in Gaza has become so bad that people are dying due to bombing, starvation and lack of medicines.

Through this mission, it is hoped that the world will stand up against this behavior of Israel and the real relief trucks stopped at the borders will be allowed to enter Gaza. Activists say that even if they are not able to enter Gaza, their efforts may prove to be an effective step towards breaking the blockade and stopping the massacre.

Shortage of water and food, but courage remains

There is a shortage of resources on the ship. Less than 20% of drinking water is left, and food items are limited. The team is washing clothes and utensils with sea water, bathing with buckets and using water in measured quantities. But there is no lack of enthusiasm in them. Keeping an eye on the Israeli media, this caravan is moving towards Gaza.
