Accidents have happened in the past as well
This was not the first case. Earlier, a helicopter going to Gangotri Dham had crashed. In which half a dozen passengers including the pilot died. Apart from this, emergency landing of helicopters going to Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham had been done earlier. After the continuous accidents, the Air Force has come into action.
