Big land fraud in Dehradun by posing as an officer of Uttarakhand government

Two accused cheated a person by signing a contract of Rs 1 crore for someone else’s land under Thana Rajpur area. Based on the complaint of the person, a case has been registered against the two accused. Police is investigating the matter. Also, one of the accused had described himself as an officer of the Uttarakhand government.

GMS Road resident Chandrashekhar Latwal has lodged a complaint that he was looking for land in Dehradun. During this, the victim met property dealer Virendra Singh. Virendra introduced the victim to Deepak Sharma, resident of Chandramani Dehradun. Deepak Sharma had told that he wanted to sell his land. After that Deepak got the victim to meet Rakesh Mishra. Deepak Sharma introduced himself as an officer in the Uttarakhand government.

After that Deepak Sharma and Rakesh Mishra signed a contract with the victim on 21 November 2023 for a land in Chalang Pargana Parwanoo District Dehradun. In lieu of this, Deepak Sharma and Rakesh Mishra took one crore rupees from the victim. According to the contract, the sale deed was to be executed after 6 months between the two parties. After 6 months, the accused asked for one more month, but when the victim got suspicious and investigated the land, he found out that the land was not his. The accused prepared a fake contract. Now when the victim is asking for his money from the accused, he is being threatened with death.

Rajpur police station in-charge Sankey Singh said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused Deepak Sharma and Rakesh Mishra under various sections including fraud. The police is investigating the matter.
