Uttarakhand: The effect of strict land law, thousands of hectares of land belonging to mafias came under the possession of the government

BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan has said that the strict land law implemented in Uttarakhand has now started showing its effect. The biggest proof of this is the vesting of thousands of bighas of land illegally acquired by the mafia by violating the rules in the state government.

While talking to journalists at the party headquarters on Saturday, Manveer Chauhan termed it as a historic action of the government. He said that this is a clear message to those who have been buying and selling land by ignoring the rules. Chauhan said that so far 900 bighas of land in the capital region has been brought under the government and investigation is going on rapidly in many other cases,

The effect of strict land law is visible on the ground

Chouhan said that strict action is also being taken against those who violate the ban on the sale of agricultural land in the hilly districts. CM Dhami has given clear instructions to the DMs of all the districts that action should be taken by impartially investigating every deal done against the rules. Chauhan claimed that the strict land law prepared by CM Dhami keeping in mind the public sentiments is now visible not only on paper but also on the ground.
