Kedarnath helicopter crash: PM Modi spoke to CM Dhami over the phone, took full update of the accident

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over the phone from Cyprus and obtained detailed information regarding the Kedarnath helicopter crash. The Prime Minister expressed deep condolences and condolences to the people who died in this tragic incident. Prayed for the strength to bear this grief to the families of the deceased. He assured all possible cooperation from the central government. The CM informed the Prime Minister that an immediate high-level meeting was held after the incident.

Instructions have been given to constitute a high-level inquiry committee to conduct a thorough investigation into the causes of the accident. Also, a Command and Co-ordination Center will be set up for better coordination and prompt action. At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu also inquired about the Kedarnath heli accident from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over the phone and assured all possible cooperation from the Center.

CM ordered investigation

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered a high-level inquiry into the helicopter crash in Rudraprayag (Kedarnath). The CM said that at whatever level negligence has been committed, they should be identified and punitive action should be ensured against them. Protecting the lives of the common people is the priority of the state government. Lives will not be allowed to be played with at any cost.

These instructions were given by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday. In the meeting, it was decided to set up a Common Command and Coordination Center in Dehradun for better coordination and safe operation of heli flights in the state. Officials from DGCA, Disaster Department, Civil Aviation, UKADA, Heli Operator Company will be deployed in this. Apart from this, heli service for Chardham will remain completely closed till Monday. The flying experience of all the heli operators and pilots engaged in Chardham in high Himalayan regions will be checked and heli service will be resumed only after a meeting with all the heli operators.
