Former Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Arya joined the Congress on Monday after retiring after serving in the police for 35 years. Today, the party’s senior vice president organization Suryakant Dhasmana got Arya enrolled as a member of the party at the state Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan.

Arya has been awarded the Police Medal by the President

Let us tell you that Om Prakash Arya, who joined the Congress, retired from the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. In 2017, Arya was awarded the Police Medal by the President of India. Arya is a postgraduate in four subjects, English, Botany, MBA HR and M.Ed. Arya was recruited as SI in Uttar Pradesh Police in 1988 and retired in 2021.

Dhasmana got him the membership

State Congress Committee Senior Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana formally inducted Arya into the party by wearing the party’s sash. Om Prakash Arya expressed his gratitude to Suryakant Dhasmana and assured him that he would work to strengthen the organization by following the policies and principles of the party.
