Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a major initiative regarding the development of the state. Dhami had a special meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. Pushkar Singh Dhami met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed various important issues related to the overall development of the state.
Demand of 63.60 crores for “Cyber Center of Excellence”
The Chief Minister demanded Rs 63.60 crore from the Union Home Minister for the establishment of “Cyber Center of Excellence” in Dehradun regarding the increasing challenges in the field of cyber security. This center will play an important role in the prevention of digital crimes, expert training, cyber forensics and development of modern resources.
Proposal of Rs 150.16 crore
Along with this, the Chief Minister requested to bring the power assets of the state under the purview of compensation under NDRF / SDRF. He told that in a small Himalayan state like Uttarakhand, natural disasters cause heavy damage to power generation and distribution system. In such a situation, it is very important to arrange for relief amount.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister also placed a proposal of Rs 150.16 crore for the expansion of Sitarganj Central Jail in front of the Center and sought early approval.
Organization of ‘Uttarakhand Investment Festival’
On this occasion, Dhami also informed the Center that Uttarakhand has participated in the Global Investor Summit-2023. Investment proposals worth more than Rs 3.50 lakh crore have been received. Now, celebrating it as a festival, there is a plan to organize ‘Uttarakhand Investment Festival’ in Pantnagar-Rudrapur Industrial Area. He also invited the Home Minister as the chief guest of this program.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured positive action on all the proposals of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that the Uttarakhand government is fully committed to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to the ground and the cooperation of the Center is giving a new direction to the development of the state.
