India issued advisory for its citizens! Warned to leave Tehran as soon as possible

Seeing the increasing tension between Iran and Israel, the Government of India has issued an advisory for Indian citizens living in Iran. The government has advised the citizens as well as the People of Indian Origin (PIOs) to leave the capital Tehran immediately.

The Indian Embassy issued this advisory and said that whoever has the means to go on his own should leave the city without any delay. Let us tell you that the reason for this warning by the Embassy (Indian Foreign Ministry) is the continuous air strikes in Tehran. The security situation is becoming dangerous day by day.

India asked its citizens to leave Tehran as soon as possible

Along with this, the Indian Embassy has also appealed to contact those who have not been in contact with them till now. The Embassy said in a statement, “All Indian citizens who are in Tehran and have not been in contact with the Embassy till now, should immediately share their status and contact numbers.”

Hundreds of people have died so far

Let us tell you that attacks are continuing between ISRAEL and Iran. So far, according to Iran, 224 people have died. Most of which are civilians. On the other hand, Israel has reported the death of 24 civilians.

India started evacuation

The situation in Tehran is worsening. In view of this, India has started the evacuation operation. According to government sources, about 110 Indian citizens in the first group crossed the border of Armenia on Monday midnight.

Indian government appealed to evacuate students

India has also appealed to Iran to safely evacuate more than 10 thousand Indian citizens (Indians in Iran) stranded in the country. In response to which Iran said that the airspace is closed. Due to which Indian students will have to travel via land routes through Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan or Afghanistan.
