Uttarakhand: BJP has geared up for Panchayat elections, BJP will field its candidates in the ‘village government’!
These days the political atmosphere of the state is hot regarding the Panchayat elections in Uttarakhand. On the one hand, while the Election Commission and the government are busy preparing for the elections, the candidates are also seen in full enthusiasm. Also, the public is also looking very excited to elect their small government. At the same time, political parties are also seen in election mode.
Senior BJP official Jyoti Prasad Gairola also gave information about the Panchayat elections. He told that BJP’s state in-charge Dushyant Gautam has held a three-tier Panchayat election meeting with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In this meeting, the election strategy was finalized. BJP is soon going to send observers for the selection of supported district panchayat members of all assembly constituencies.
According to Jyoti Prasad Gairola, recently two important meetings were held in the Chief Minister’s residence regarding the Panchayat elections. In these meetings, first of all there was a toli meeting and after that a meeting of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State In-charge Dushyant Gautam and State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar was held under the chairmanship of State President Mahendra Bhatt.
In these meetings, detailed discussions were held regarding the strategy of three-tier Panchayat elections. In the meeting, the list of names of observers was finalized for the selection of the party’s supported candidate for the District Panchayat member election. Party Vice President Jyoti Gairola said that this time the party is planning to field party workers for each Pradhan and Kshetra Panchayat member post.
Gairola said that it has been decided in the meeting that as soon as the final announcement of the election date and reservation is made, observers will be sent to the areas, where they will prepare a panel of names of supported candidates for the post of District Panchayat member. On which the state leadership will discuss according to the region, society, class and party strategy and announce the names of the candidates.
Similarly, active party workers will be prepared to make lotus bloom on most of the Pradhan and Kshetra Panchayat seats. The party’s goal was made clear in the meeting, there is an emphasis on making most of the Pradhans, BDCs, Block Pramukhs and all District Panchayat Presidents from BJP.
