Uttarakhand Panchayat election notification will be issued soon, reservation proposal will be submitted on June 19

In Uttarakhand, preparations for the three-tier panchayat are going on in full swing in 12 districts of the state except Haridwar district. At present, the objections received on the reservation proposal are being resolved. According to the schedule, June 17 is the last date for resolving the objections related to the reservation proposal. In such a situation, the final list of reservation will be released on June 18. It is expected that after the reservation proposal is received by the Panchayati Raj Department and the State Election Commission on June 19, the notification related to the three-tier panchayat elections can be issued.
Regarding the three-tier panchayat elections, the government has already made it clear that their preparations related to the elections are complete. On the other hand, the State Election Commission has also almost completed the preparations related to the panchayat elections. In such a situation, after the State Election Commission receives the reservation proposal, the commission will move forward in the direction of the elections. While talking, State Election Commission Secretary Rahul Kumar Goyal said that the preparations of the State Election Commission for conducting three-tier panchayat elections are almost complete. Training related to panchayat elections has also been given in both the divisions of the state.
The Uttarakhand State Election Commission has also finalized the list of voters in view of the Panchayat elections. According to the voter list, there are a total of 47,72,020 voters in 12 districts of the state except Haridwar district. Which includes 24,63,183 male voters, 23,08,465 female voters and 372 other voters. All these voters will vote to select representatives for the posts of 7499 Gram Pradhans, 55583 Gram Panchayat members, 2975 area Panchayat members and 358 district Panchayat members in the Panchayats, i.e. a total of 66415 posts of Panchayats.
In view of the three-tier Panchayat elections, 10529 booths will be set up for voting. On the question of preparation for the three-tier Panchayat elections, Panchayati Raj Secretary Chandresh Yadav said that the notification related to posts and reservation has already been issued. In such a situation, the process of reservation will be completed by June 19. Whatever objections have come regarding the reservation proposal, those objections will be resolved at the district level by June 17. In such a situation, the final list of reservation proposals will be published on June 18. On June 19, the reservation proposal will be submitted to the Panchayati Raj Directorate. After this, the reservation proposal will be made available to the State Election Commission by the Panchayati Raj Directorate.
