Uttarakhand: Crowd surrounded Tyuni police station under the leadership of Congress MLA Pritam Singh, case of beating of a soldier, serious allegations against police

Congress MLA from Chakrata, Pritam Singh, reached Tyuni police station on Wednesday, June 18 with hundreds of supporters and surrounded the police station and raised questions on the working style of the police. It is alleged that the Tyuni police station police had beaten up an army soldier in the past. In this case, the department has already suspended two policemen, but Congress MLA Pritam Singh and the local public are not satisfied with this action of the police.

MLA Pritam Singh has made it clear that he will also raise this matter in the House and if needed, will also go to the High Court. During this, the protesters also raised slogans against the police-administration. People also accused the Tyuni police station of harassment and corruption.

In fact, the protesters allege that during checking in the Tyuni police station area in the past, the policemen have misbehaved and brutalized the army soldier. Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh condemned the incident and demanded strict action against the accused police personnel.

Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh alleged that the police first misbehaved with the army soldier and then also beat him up. Not only this, the police also forcibly made the army soldier write an apology. If this kind of behavior can be done with an army soldier, then what would happen to the common man?

Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh alleged that the police personnel were drunk. Often the police personnel create a ruckus in the market after getting drunk. That is why today they have surrounded the police station. If action is still not taken against the accused policemen, then this matter will be raised in the House. Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh demands that whoever has beaten up the army soldier, action should be taken against them under relevant sections. He will go to the High Court with this demand.
