Raja Raghuvanshi murder case: Sonam’s black bag found with property broker, pistol was kept inside, Shilom in custody

In the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case of Indore, the police took a big action late on Saturday night and took property broker Shilom James into custody. The black bag that Shillong police was looking for was found with the property broker. A pistol was kept in this bag. Along with this, there was also cash and Sonam’s jewelry. The police have taken property broker Shilom James into custody. Shilom is accused of renting a flat to accused Vishal Chauhan, in which the main accused of the murder, Sonam Raghuvanshi, was hiding. In this case, the police got an important clue from an auto driver. This auto, booked from the Rapido app, was sent from Nandbagh on May 3 with a bag, which was received by a young man in Hirabagh. The investigation made it clear that this bag belonged to Raja and Sonam, which was hidden in the flat after the incident.

Conspiracy confirmed by CCTV footage
The SIT team searched the CCTV footage from June 3 to 10, in which Silom was captured carrying the bag in his car. This was the same bag in which a country-made pistol, five lakh rupees, Raja’s chain, mobile, Sonam’s clothes and jewellery were kept. The plan to kill Raja was to shoot him, for which Raj had bought a pistol from Sikligar, but later the plan was changed and he was strangled to death.

Arrested from toll post
When the SIT called Shilom for questioning, he kept trying to escape and eventually switched off the phone and started running away. This information was given to Shipra police station and he was arrested by laying siege at the toll post. During interrogation, Shilom confessed that he had hidden the bag in the house. After this, he was brought to MY Hospital for medical examination and then he was produced in the court and sent to jail.

Shilom became co-accused, preparations to take him to Shillong
It has become clear in the investigation so far that Shilom not only provided the flat, but also played an important role in hiding the evidence and helping the accused. For this reason, he has been made a co-accused in the case and will soon be taken to Shillong.
