The government has decided to formally recommend the name of President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his decisive diplomatic intervention and important leadership during the recent India-Pakistan crisis.”
Nomination after lunch with Munir
President Trump hosted Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir at the White House on Wednesday. Immediately after which this nomination was done. Perhaps the lunch was done for the Nobel nomination. If reports are to be believed, Munir joined Trump for lunch at the White House.
