Cheaper than a cab! Travel by plane for just Rs 694, it will cover a distance of 130 km

Just imagine that you are flying in the air. You are covering a distance of 130 km and the cost is less than a cab ride. Sounds like a dream, right? But now you don’t need to imagine it. It has become a reality. Now you can travel by plane for just Rs 694.
Plane travel has become cheaper than cab
Actually, American company Beta Technologies has done what was only a dream till now with its fully electric plane Alia CX300. Earlier this month, Alia CX300 flew from East Hampton to John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). With four passengers, this flight covered a distance of about 130 km i.e. 70 nautical miles in just 30 minutes.
A 30-minute ride in the air and that too for just ₹694
Want to know what is the most amazing thing in all this? The cost of electricity for this journey was only $8, i.e. about ₹694. If the same journey was done by helicopter, the cost of fuel alone would have been $160, i.e. about ₹13,800. That is, a difference of about 20 times from the cost of an electric plane.
So cheap, so quiet
There is another special thing about this flight and that is its quietness. Since this is an electric aircraft, it does not have the loud noise of traditional engines and propellers. The passengers were able to talk comfortably during the flight. As if they were traveling in a car.
Beta Technologies CEO Kyle Clark said this
Beta Technologies CEO Kyle Clark said, “We flew this for the first time with a fully electric aircraft in the New York Port Authority area. This is the beginning of the future. It only took a few dollars for charging and the flight was done.”
Is cheap air travel possible now?
The company believes that the way CX300 has instilled confidence in its first flight. In the coming times, this technology can make air travel cheaper and accessible to common people. This is not just a flight but a glimpse of the future of air travel. A future that will be cheap, environmentally friendly and noiseless.
