Israel and Iran have accepted the ceasefire plan proposed by US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. After this, there is now peace in the Middle East, which has been burning in the fire of war for 12 days.

Iran launched missile attacks on Israel early Tuesday, killing 7 people, while Israel carried out air strikes on several Iranian bases before dawn. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has agreed to a bilateral ceasefire with Iran in coordination with Trump.

He said that Israel achieved all its war goals in the 12-day campaign. This includes eliminating the threat of Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile program, harming Iran’s military leadership, damaging several government bases. Netanyahu warned that Israel would respond strongly to any violation of the ceasefire.

US President Donald Trump said after the ceasefire that he hopes that the ceasefire declared between Tehran and Jerusalem will end all military hostility between the two countries. He said in an interview to NBC News, “I think the ceasefire is unlimited. It will continue forever.”
