Lokayukta officials on Tuesday raided several places related to 8 government officials in connection with earning more property than their known sources of income. Illegal property is being recovered from their places. Lokayukta officials have raided the houses, offices and other places of the accused officials.

The names of the people whose places were raided by Lokayukta have been revealed. All these officials are sitting on high posts. All the accused officials are involved in corruption.

Sources connected to Lokayukta said that Vasanad has a luxurious bungalow in Dharwad. Gold and silver jewellery have been recovered from his house during the raid.
