Congress leader Jitendra is accused of sending obscene videos to a female journalist and talking indecently on call. Police have registered a case against the Congress leader after receiving the complaint. As the matter escalated, the Congress party has distanced itself from the accused.

According to the information, a female journalist from Dehradun has given a complaint to the police. In which she told that on June 15, Congress leader Jitendra Chauhan alias Jitti sent her obscene videos on WhatsApp. After which the accused called her on WhatsApp and started using indecent language.

Congress party distanced itself from the accused

The accused did not stop even after the female journalist protested. After which the journalist gave a complaint to the police about the matter. Also shared the screenshots sent by the accused. The police has started investigating the matter. At the same time, as the matter escalated, the Congress party has sent a letter to the police and the District Magistrate, distancing itself from the accused Jitendra.

Congress condemned the act of the accused

Congress Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana has said in the letter that Jitendra is neither a primary member of the party nor holds any post. Dhasmana said that Chauhan has created chaos in the party office in the past as well. After which the entry of the accused was banned in the office. Dhasmana condemned the act of the accused and demanded action from the police.
