Here, a sensation spread after a dead body was found inside a suitcase. When the police opened that suitcase, what was inside was terrifying. The decapitated body of a young man was wrapped in cement and an attempt was made to hide it.

It did not take much time for the police to solve the mystery of this heart-wrenching incident. What came out in the investigation was even more shocking. The mastermind of this murder turned out to be not a criminal but a lawyer. Ankit Upadhyay who is the son of a retired ASI.

Along with him, his wife Shivani Sharma was also found involved in this entire case. After committing the crime, both of them tried to escape from Raipur to Delhi. But the faces of both were captured in the CCTV footage. With the help of which the police arrested them from Delhi.

First slit the throat, then wrapped it in plaster

The deceased has been identified as Kishore Pankra. The accused couple first slit the throat of the teenager with a sharp weapon. After this, the body was stuffed in a big suitcase and a thick cement coating was applied on it. So that the smell does not spread from the dead body. But with the heat and time, when the smell started spreading, the accused fled leaving the suitcase in a deserted place.

When, where and how the matter came to light

The incident was revealed when the people of the colony complained of the foul smell. When the police reached the spot and opened the trunk, a rotten dead body was found inside. On which there was a layer of cement. It was clear that every effort was made to hide the murder.

Case similar to Meerut but plot different

Such an incident had come to light earlier in Meerut as well. Where the woman along with her lover killed her husband and covered the body with cement. The incident in Raipur also followed the same pattern, only the faces and intentions have changed.

Husband and wife are in police custody

At present Ankit and Shivani are in police custody and they are being continuously questioned. Police is trying to find out what was the real reason behind the murder, enmity, betrayal or some other deep secret?
