Uttarakhand: Former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore flouted UCC, Congress demanded action from CM

Jyoti Rautela, state president of Uttarakhand Mahila Congress, has once again launched a scathing attack on the BJP by holding a press conference at the Congress headquarters on Wednesday. This time she has attacked Surendra Rathore, BJP MLA from Haridwar, who has been in the news since his second marriage.

Jyoti Rautela said Suresh Rathore has not only made his second marriage public, but has also promoted it through social media and press. Which is a direct violation of UCC. Rautela said that on one hand CM Dhami is raking in accolades by calling Uttarakhand the first state to implement UCC in the entire country. Congress demands action from CM
