The torrential rain in Haldwani city since Wednesday morning has completely derailed life. Drains and canals are overflowing all over the city. The biggest accident happened behind the fire brigade office, where a car was swept away by the strong current of the canal.

It is being told that a total of seven people were in the car. Giving information about the accident, SP City Prakash Chandra said that four people, including a child sitting in the car, have died, while three others are seriously injured. The injured are being treated in the hospital.
