Uttarakhand: Youngest IAS officer Prateek Jain reached Kedarnath by walking 24 km after becoming DM of Rudraprayag

After serving in the district for 2 years, DM Saurabh Gaharwar went to take over the responsibility of MD of SIDCUL and Chief Executive Officer of PMGSY, while the new District Magistrate Prateek Jain has taken charge. Prateek Jain, who became DM for the first time, is the youngest DM of Rudraprayag district till date. As soon as Prateek arrived, he also gave a glimpse of his future tenure.

Prateek Jain reached Kedarnath as soon as he took charge of DM: As soon as 2018 batch IAS officer Prateek Jain took charge as DM of a district famous for religious tourism like Rudraprayag, his first task was to check the arrangements for the Kedarnath Yatra. These days, Kedarnath Yatra is going on in full swing under the Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand. Rudraprayag District Magistrate Prateek Jain set out on foot to see the Kedarnath Dham Yatra route and its arrangements.

Youngest DM of Rudraprayag walked 24 kilometers: The 32-year-old District Magistrate completed this journey by covering a distance of 24 kilometers on foot and taking information about the arrangements from the pilgrims along the way. Wherever he saw deficiencies and whatever needs people expressed, he gave instructions to improve them. After reaching Kedarnath Dham, he took the blessings of Baba Kedarnath. He met with the priests and discussed the arrangements.

Prateek is a 2018 batch IAS: Rudraprayag DM Prateek Jain is a 2018 batch IAS officer. While inspecting the Kedarnath National Highway, he instructed the NH department to keep necessary machines at landslide prone places at all times. Along with this, the DM also checked the medical facilities. He also inspected the office of SDRF. He also saw the resting places built for Kedarnath pilgrims and checked the facilities there.

Know about the new DM of Rudraprayag: The youngest District Magistrate of Rudraprayag district till date, Prateek Jain was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Born on 25 July 1993, Prateek Jain is a 2018 batch IAS officer. Even before becoming an IAS, he had passed many administrative examinations. He also has a Masters degree in Public Management from JNU. Pratik has also been the CDO of Haridwar district.

Rudraprayag is an important district: Rudraprayag is an important district from the point of view of religious tourism. Jyotirlinga Kedarnath temple is located here. Along with this, Tungnath temple, Rudranath temple and Madmaheshwar temple are also located here. Triyuginarayan temple, the marriage place of Lord Shiva Parvati, is also in this district. Kalpeshwar temple, Agastyamuni temple and Omkareshwar temple are also here. A large number of devotees visit these temples of historical, religious and mythological importance throughout the year.

Common devotees as well as VVIPs keep coming and going to visit Kedarnath temple for the entire 6 months. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself keeps taking information about the schemes going on in this district. PMO has interference in the reconstruction work going on in the Kedarnath temple complex, so the PM often keeps holding review meetings.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
