Let us tell you that Rajesh, a youth from Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, was living a hellish life as a hostage in a cowshed in Punjab for the last 15 years. After the initiative of Pauri MP Anil Baluni, Rajesh has now returned to his home. Let us tell you that the news of Rajesh being held hostage in Chamoli was revealed when a video of Rajesh went viral on social media, in which he had shown his pitiable condition and pleaded for help.
Emotional video of mother and son going viral on social media
The viral video reached MP Baluni. After which he directly contacted Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and immediately intervened for the release of the youth. After the help of the Punjab administration, Rajesh has now reached his home. Rajesh’s mother became emotional after seeing her son after years. The mother hugged and kissed the son. Whoever saw the emotional video, his eyes filled with tears.
Baluni expressed gratitude
Pauri MP Anil Baluni has expressed gratitude to the Governor of Punjab and the police. Anil Baluni posted on social media and wrote “Thank you very much Your Excellency Governor ji, for your quick cooperation. You freed Rajesh, a youth from Chamoli from my Lok Sabha Garhwal, who was living a hellish life, facing inhumane behaviour, torture”.

“I also congratulate Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav, SSP Tarn Taran and the police team for completing this humanitarian work without a moment’s delay and freeing the Chamoli youth from the trap of bonded labour. I also thank the police department for initiating legal action against the guilty person who held the youth hostage”.
