This year Amarnath Yatra is starting from July 3 (amarnath yatra 2025 start date). Which will last for 38 days. Like every year, this time also thousands of devotees will come to visit Baba Barfani. They will visit this holy cave through the beautiful routes of Jammu and Kashmir.
However, after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, people are afraid of the journey. However, the administration has made strong arrangements for the smooth journey of the devotees. Let us know how many people have registered. What is the reason for the Amarnath Yatra
Amarnath Yatra is starting from this day
This year, the Amarnath Yatra starting from July 3 has two routes. Which starts from Baltal and Pahalgam. While the Baltal route is about 14 kilometers long. So it takes about a day to reach the cave. So the second route is 32 kilometers.
It takes three to four days to travel from here. The journey starts from Donel Gate in Baltal. And in Pahalgam from Chandanwadi. Here the RFID checking of the pilgrims is done. That means you must have an RFID card for this journey. Its fee is Rs 250.
When and how will the registration be done?
Registrations for Amarnath Yatra have already started. It is necessary to have a fitness certificate for this journey. This has to be submitted along with the registration form. You can register by visiting your nearest bank branch or the official website of Amarnath Yatra.
Tight security arrangements from the government
In view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in April, this time a lot of caution is being taken for the safety of the pilgrims. CRPF, ITBP and Jammu and Kashmir Police will be deployed on both the routes leading to the cave. Along with this, monitoring will be done by drones and the safety of the pilgrims will be ensured by RFID based tracking.
So many people have registered so far
Let us tell you that before the Pahalgam attack, about 2.38 lakh devotees had registered. But now due to security reasons, only 85 thousand passengers have been confirmed to be travelling. However, the administration is making all arrangements to make the journey safe.
