Uttarakhand: PCS exam on 29th June! Rain can become an obstacle, CM Dhami made this appeal to the candidates

In view of the warning of heavy rains in the hilly and some plain areas of Uttarakhand during the next 24 hours, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed to the general public to be alert. The CM has urged the people to take the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department seriously and avoid unnecessary travel.

CM Dhami’s advice to the candidates appearing in the PCS exam

CM Dhami has specially appealed to the candidates appearing for the PCS exam-2025 to be held on June 29 to leave for their examination centers in advance keeping in mind the weather. CM Dhami said that both the safety of the candidates and the examination are very important for the government.

How will the weather be in Uttarakhand on June 29?

Meteorologists have predicted heavy to very heavy rains with thunderstorms in Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pauri, Chamoli, Bageshwar Champawat and Pithoragarh districts on June 29. Also, expressing the possibility of landslides in the mountainous areas, people have been instructed to be cautious.

Instructions given to DMs of all districts to remain alert

Chief Minister Dhami also informed that the state government is keeping an eye on the entire situation and every necessary step is being taken. The CM has instructed the District Magistrates of all the districts to keep the administration in alert mode in their respective districts in view of the possibility of heavy rains and be ready to deal with any emergency.
