Uttarakhand: Taekwondo National Championship concludes, Minister felicitates medal winners

Sports Minister Rekha Arya concluded the 42nd National Taekwondo Championship and 28th National Poomse Taekwondo Championship on Sunday. She honored the medal winners by presenting them with medals at the Vandana Kataria Stadium in Roshanabad. More than 700 players from 18 states participated in these competitions.

The minister said that the players who have won medals in this national competition will also win medals for the country at the international level in future. The minister said that with the efforts of the government, it is possible that the 2036 Olympics will be organized in India, players should start preparing for it by setting a target for it from now on.
