Tamilnadu: “I will not be a burden on you, Papa…”, the newly wed bride committed suicide, sent audio messages to her father before dying

The reason was harassment by her in-laws. Taking action in the case, the police have arrested the husband and his parents. Let’s know what the whole matter is?

According to the police, Ridhanya sent seven WhatsApp audio messages to her father on Sunday before committing suicide. In these audio messages, she first apologized for her step. After which she also revealed the cruel harassment being done by her in-laws due to dowry.

Ridhanya said in the message, “Kavin and his parents had conspired to trap me for marriage. I am not able to tolerate their daily mental torture anymore. I don’t understand whom to talk to. Some people say that life is like this, compromise. They do not understand my pain. You people may think that I am lying but I am being truthful. But I do not want to be a burden on you for the rest of my life. This time I did not make any mistake. I do not like this life.”

Ridhanya further said, “They are torturing me mentally and he (Kavin) is torturing me physically. I cannot live my life anymore. You and mother are my world. You are my only hope till my last breath, but I have hurt you a lot. You are not saying this openly but you cannot see me in this condition. I can understand your pain. Forgive me father, everything is over. I am leaving.”

She took her life in the car itself

According to the police, on Sunday, Ridhanya left the house saying that she was going to the temple. She stopped the car on the way and consumed pesticide tablets. When the local people saw the car parked at the same place for a long time, they informed the police. When the police reached the spot and checked the vehicle, Ridhanya was found dead inside. Foam was also coming out of her mouth.

3 accused including her husband in police custody

Ridhanya’s body has been sent for post-mortem. As soon as the case was registered, the police arrested the woman’s husband Kavin Kumar, his father Ishwarmurthy and mother Chitradevi. Let us tell you that both of them got married in April this year. Allegedly, about 800 grams of gold, a Volvo car and Rs 70 lakh were given as dowry at the time of marriage.
