Heavy to very heavy rains are expected at some places in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts of the state. For which the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in some places in the remaining districts of the state and the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.

While there is a possibility of lightning with thunder in some places in all the districts of the state and people have been appealed to be alert by issuing a yellow alert. On the other hand, if we talk about the capital Dehradun, then it will generally remain cloudy here, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain. The maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be around 29 ° C and 22 ° C respectively. Let us tell you that Nainital DM Vandana Singh has declared a holiday for all Anganwadis and government and non-government schools on June 30 i.e. today in view of the heavy rain alert.

Secretary Disaster Management Vinod Kumar Suman said that the Dehradun Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain in all areas of the state on June 30, i.e. today, due to which, in view of disaster mitigation, a one-day holiday is declared on June 30, 2025 in all educational institutions and Anganwadi centers running from class 1 to 12 in the state. He said that all Anganwadi centers along with government, non-government and private schools of the state will remain closed today.
